Article title

[edit]

In November 2019, the Parachute Training School was renamed the Australian Defence Force Parachuting School.[1]. What would be an appropriate title for the article? The new name is quite long. Shortening to ADF Parachuting School is concise. WP:TITLE is to avoid using acronyms. There is also the manual of style WP:ACRONYMTITLE to consider. Instead of using the exact name, if full the name was to be used, it could be rearranged to Parachuting School (Australian Defence Force). --Melbguy05 (talk) 10:50, 2 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Nick-D: and @AustralianRupert:, what do you think for a new title? --Melbguy05 (talk) 07:43, 17 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Australian Defence Force Parachuting School seems the obvious choice, and isn't particularly long. Nick-D (talk) 07:53, 17 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
G'day, I agree with Nick, I'd go with Australian Defence Force Parachuting School as the article title. Regards, AustralianRupert (talk) 08:41, 17 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
