Why?

[edit]

This line is not supported by any references. ACE leads to a US based certiciate. This seems to be an unsubstantiated statement. Controversially, the acronym "ACE" is already used for two other educational purposes in Australia - Adult and Community Education and Advanced Christian Education. And the IB course leads to a Switzerland based certificate (note the spelling). While you may not have heard of it, if you live in Australia there is likely a small Christian school near you that offers the ACE curriculum, or a homeschooling household where it is taught. matturn 12:24, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wesley College Institute

[edit]

Have edited this section to reflect that Wesley's work with ACER etc is very much an offshoot of the ACE initiative. The ACE is directed at establishing a uniform certificate across Australia. The Wesley initiative is around a specific version of it - the ACE- Vocational. Murtoa (talk) 04:04, 18 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The above comment also pertains to the information added back, except the Wesley project supports a "National diploma of education", clearly different to the ACE. Murtoa (talk) 02:49, 18 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
