Is this the same August Ritter that worked with Carl Benz?
[edit]https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Benz
In the section: Benz's first factory and early inventions (1871–1882)
It states:
"In 1871, at the age of twenty-seven, Karl Benz joined August Ritter in launching the Iron Foundry and Mechanical Workshop in Mannheim, later renamed Factory for Machines for Sheet-metal Working."
The last sentence of the Early Life section just prior states: "Finally, he [Carl] went to Vienna for a short period to work at an iron construction company."
Based on time period, location, and shared working areas, it seems plausible that it is the same August Ritter. But I am not confident or able to find any source to actually make the link. Maybe a source, if any, would be in German. YordleSquire (talk) 02:59, 4 July 2023 (UTC)
