Today I performed a WP:BOLD merge of this article and the one about the similar September launch into 2017 North Korean missile tests. Ethanbas thought this was too bold and reverted the merges, citing "a consensus this deserves a separate article". I perused the relevant talk pages before merging and did not see any discussion about the need for separate articles, so I'm not sure where this purported consensus comes from. My opinion is that readers are better informed with a single page including all information about DPRK missile tests. The main article is not very long either. I have carefully merged the contents and the graphs, and applied relevant changes to articles and navboxes that pointed here. In any case, happy to discuss. Should we have separate articles, and why? — JFGtalk16:44, 24 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
merge – Given that both article are focused on the same subject and each is relatively brief, there's no reason to have separate month by month "NK missle launches" articles. The proposed merge appears well thought out. Drdpw (talk) 19:00, 25 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
