US vs the rest of the world

I could be wrong, but it looks like in some parts they talk about the situation in the world and in other places only about the situation in the US. Maybe it better to do an intro about the general world situation and then about the local situation. IMHO this article needs to be about the global situation and another article(s) about the situation in US, UK, Australia and other countries. A good article about the global situation is now missing.
