Notability Tags
[edit]In the spirit of intellectual honesty, discussion regarding the tags should be here. DreamGuy mentioned adding references and seemed to think a list of notable airplay was an indication of non-notability. I haven't seen airplay lists mentioned anywhere in the Wikipedia literature as being non-notable. If you can find it, please link. Anyway, the airplay list may not have been exhaustive. It appears to be pulled directly from the Band's website.
Regarding notability, there isn't a doubt the band warrants an entry. National airplay, IMDb credits, publishing in secondary sources such as newspapers and magazines. I'll get to work on finishing the references but it may take a couple weeks. Thank you for your patience. Winick88 (talk) 18:07, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- I've been really busy lately and haven't had much time to edit. I honestly don't care to sink much more into this effort given the page already meets the burden set forth by Wikipedia notability guidelines. I welcome any additions fellow editors may have, but at this point the nationwide WB network exposure, IMDb credits, magazine, book, and newspaper citations should be sufficient to remove the tags. I'll give it a few more weeks before removing the tags in order to give everyone the opportunity to voice dissenting opinions here. Thanks. Winick88 (talk) 23:47, 27 April 2009 (UTC)
- I had considered AfD awhile back. But the Daily Beacon article plus the Daily Buzz just barely does it as far as notability, imho. Dlabtot (talk) 23:58, 27 April 2009 (UTC)
- I'm removing the tags. Please discuss rationale here before re-adding them. Thanks. Winick88 (talk) 01:43, 11 May 2009 (UTC)

When are they gonna start touring again? I've been wanting to go to an Atticus show for years but they don't come to Connecticut a lot. Or maybe they do and I just don't hear about it. Either way, I want an Atticus concert! Who's with me?
i hope they aren't breaking up for good because that would suck. there my favorite band ever!!!

atticus is better now without the morons in the band. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.155.116.202 (talk) 02:08, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Romance Is A Slowdance (1m 44s).ogg
[edit]Image:Romance Is A Slowdance (1m 44s).ogg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
