Popular Mechanics article

[edit]

A reference is included to the popular mechanics article that describes a possible heating system using the spent cooling air from a reactor. I am quite sure this never actually happened, but some how it has been included as part of the description of Gleep. GLEEP was not forced-air cooled, and even if it was, at its normal operating point would be lucky to generate 3KW of heat! Not anywhere enough to provide useful heating.

I suspect it was a thought by one or two engineers during one of the very bad winters the UK had at that time. Krmurrell (talk) 18:32, 8 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
