Why I removed so much content.
[edit]This article frequently strayed from the subject of Assumption Residential School at Hay Lake to the wider subject of residential schools in general. Since there is a page for that, I deleted the content here. And someone cited a map as verification of what the indigenous language of the area was -- a map that makes no mention whatever of language. Residential schools were horrific but careless sourcing and padding an article out does no one any favors. Oona Wikiwalker (talk) 12:30, 20 December 2024 (UTC)
