‘’’Associated Motor Industries””” was a United States manufacturer of motor vehicles established in 1922. It represented the merger of seven manufacturers, including
- Jackson Motors Corporation [unable to confirm]
- Wayman-Gord Company, Worcester, Mass. [unable to confirm]
- Traffic Motor Truck Corporation
The company's executives then included Will I. Ohmer (title not specified, possibly chairman) and Louis Ruthenberg, president, formerly general manager of the Delco plant of General Motors.
In 1923, the company changed its name to National Motors Corporation, because its leading brand of automobile was the "National".[3]
In 1923, Motor West listed the executives of National Motors Corp. as "Clarence A. Earl, president and general manager; A. A. Gloetzner, vice president in charge of production ; Robert V. Board, ..."[4]
