Boundary of historic district [1]

Hey Polaron, the linked google map which you prepared seems helpful. I assume you prepared it using the selected coordinates for the HD that are available in the NRIS database, as you have in other cases. That means it would be a good approximation of the HD boundaries, although not an exact map of the HD (which probably is provided in the NRHP application document). I wonder if the linked google map could be revised somewhat with language to indicate the source and to characterize the approximation, then I think the linked map could be included as an external link in the article. That would be a good addition, i think. Would it be relatively easy to add some language, something like: "This map shows approximate boundaries of the Aspetuck Historic District. It is based on selected coordinates for the district provided in the National Register Information System database (http://______)." I wouldn't want to ask you to go through too much trouble, but it would be nice to get more mileage out of what you've done. :) doncram (talk) 15:09, 27 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
