Different languages, different meanings

[edit]

In italian language Wikipedia, seeking for 'Asana' word, i find only the sanscrit word and Yoga practices page: https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C4%80sana
In the meantime, in English i could find only present 'Asana Software' Firm page.

I think both meanings have to be considered from both languages, as they are two entirely different and meaningful things;
then possibly, a disambiguation page needs to be created.

I've put similar indication on the italian discussion for %C4%80sana. (Yoga practice)
Hope someway the two could got aligned, I don't know how to contribute in this situation :-(.

Pronunciation (COI)

[edit]

The company name Asana is actually not pronounced like the yoga term asana; I just updated the article to address this and added a source. I do have a potential COI with this page as I am joining the company in May, but I don't think that's an issue for this edit. Qzekrom 💬 theythem 21:41, 1 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Update: Asana's website states that both the typical pronunciation and the traditional Sanskrit pronunciation are acceptable. Qzekrom (she/her • talk) 17:40, 5 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Promotional Language and Product Flag Removal

[edit]

The article has been reviewed and edited to remove overtly promotional language, improving sources and eliminating intricate details. Unless anyone objects, I am going to remove these tags. Rdr00iclly (talk) 16:55, 10 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Web site

[edit]

This description "website = asana.com" automatically jumps to the app. Could you change this description to "website = [URL|https://asana.com/?noredirect asana.com]"? Mocha c jp (talk) 06:11, 10 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Work management

[edit]

I would like to suggest "Work management" as an identification page on Wikipedia. However, there are many opinions that it is the same as "Project management". Besides Asana, many other software (e.g. Jira (software)) have adopted "Work management" as an identifying term. Do you have your opinion? Mocha c jp (talk) 13:09, 9 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
