When I search I find Spanish sources. Though he's an Italian artist it seems he spent time in Spain. He shows up in Google books in a number of books. Stuff like this bit from a book called "Desde el borde de la memoria: de artes y letras en los años del mediosiglo en Santander" (In English that title woulsd be roughly:From the border of memory: Arts and Letters in Midcentury Santander.) "The October 17 opening of the exhibition of Italian Arturo Peyrot, whom Joaquin de la Puente called 'an artist in love with the beauty' in the article he wrote on his painting for the exhibition."
