Article needs broader input
[edit]- The article's main source of input is the Constructionist design methodology and Mindmakers.org related material. This is because my main experience in A.I. systems integration comes from these domains. The article needs to discuss and compare different systems, methodologies and standards that are currently being used, or have been suggested for use. Hthth 20:12, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
- Consider moving this article to 'Intelligent systems integration' as a more generally used term and to link in as a sub-article of Intelligent system. --moxon 11:41, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
- How about calling it "Systems with complex communication capabilities", the fact that a system can tell you what word a person said doesn't mean there is understanding and therefore does not make the system intelligent. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.176.131.172 (talk) 18:48, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
- The article is not about communicative systems but the creation- and nature of integrated system architecture in areas of artificial intelligence. Complex communication abilities is but one function that an integrated system can perform. (Regarding definitions, in short: speech recognition is an acknowledged sub-branch of artificial intelligence; by definition it is therefore a type of intelligent system.) Moving the article to "Intelligent systems integration" is a good idea. ---hthth (talk) 22:29, 13 September 2010 (UTC)
