There is a discrepancy for the figure of the population in the text, and in the table. The figure in the text is much too high, as it is around 4000.Ibrahim Shaheen (talk) 20:47, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the population of Artas was 3,663 in 2006. Here is the source Projected Mid -Year Population for Bethlehem Governorate by Locality 2004- 2006 --Al Ameer son (talk) 21:31, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
