What is the picture on medal, a castle in Germany or what? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.246.211.101 (talk) 10:59, 29 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The picture on the medal is the Remagen bridge over the Rhine. I tried unsuccessfully twice to add a reference http://www.tioh.hqda.pentagon.mil/Awards/WWII%20OCCUPATION1.html --~~GlennTuley~~ —Preceding unsigned comment added by GlennTuley (talkcontribs) 01:42, 25 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

George S. Patton

[edit]

Trying to resolve the date of award to George S. Patton between his article, 1955, and this one, 1950. So far the searching is all mirrors of the two WP articles. — MrDolomite • Talk 19:34, 5 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the statement of General Patton being the first posthumous recipient. I am unable to find a reliable source EricSerge (talk) 22:22, 13 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Berlin Airlift

[edit]

The article fails to mention the airplane device authorized for wear for participation in the Berlin Airlift. --Lineagegeek (talk) 20:11, 1 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"In addition to the Germany clasp, for those service members who performed 92 consecutive days of military duty during the Berlin Airlift in 1948 and 1949, the Berlin Airlift Device is authorized as a device to the Army of Occupation Medal." is already in the article. What more were you looking for? EricSerge (talk) 00:34, 2 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
