Gordon Commons

[edit]

Hello Wikipedians!

I'm considering editing this page to include the updated name for what was formerly Taylor Place Residence Hall. On April 14, the name of the building was officially changed to Gordon Commons to honor former Phoenix mayor Phil Gordon. Here are some links to news coverage of the change: TAYLOR PLACE RESIDENTIAL HALL IN DOWNTOWN PHOENIX RENAMED GORDON COMMONS and another article from The Arizona Republic. Additionally, here is a link to the updated building page on the ASU website: Gordon Commons

Specifically, I'm planning on editing the "Residence Halls" section of this page to say "Gordon Commons (formerly Taylor Place)" instead of "Taylor Place."

I'm pretty new to editing on Wikipedia. If anyone has any questions about this let me know! Kateduffy519 (talk) 21:36, 22 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Security and Sustainability Forum

[edit]

How about the very visionary "Security and Sustainability Forum" at ASU (and Edward Saltzberg, Executive Director)?[1]
