I just discovered from Google Books that Arctocyon primaevus is also the name of a species of mite. Looks like somebody needs to be renamed? 153.2.246.30 (talk) 00:53, 13 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Not really, I'm not entirely sure why, but it's mentioned in the paper along Archaeoindris and Apterodon Maybe it's a mislabeled collection of papers? Borophagus (talk) 15:20, 5 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Arctocyon paleoart repeated on the page

The artist's reconstruction of Arctocyon is put at the top of the sidebar infobox and then literally right below it in the classification section... it might be intentional but I'm not quite sure. 69.161.3.141 (talk) 01:44, 1 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
