Duration of the songs!!
[edit]Can someone put the right duration of the songs?—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 201.17.178.139 (talk • contribs) 19:57, 10 January 2007 (UTC).
Discussions
[edit]I think the discussions on this artists albums should be separate articles - one for each album. Here there should only be a discography list. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Esprit15d (talk • contribs) 21:02, 5 October 2005 (UTC).
Cleanup
[edit]I'm slowly trying to clean this up. I've moved the old album text to their appropriate articles, but it still needs to be placed in proper format, and this page could be fixed up a little as well. I'll probably come back to it, but for now I'm off to bed. So far I've removed the old album and track listing, and replaced it with the discovery. TheJosher 02:16, 16 December 2005 (UTC)
Matt interview
[edit]I did an interview with Matt awhile back. I don't want to post the piece myself, but if any of you deem it worthy to quote, extract information from or otherwise use, feel free. :-)

I uploaded a photo earlier as I didn't think such an addition would be a conflict of interest.

Early Life
[edit]I thought that Matt went to Barton Peveril college at 16, not Winchester college, because I went to home town gig of his a couple of years ago at which he was reminiscing about being at BP. A review of the gig which mentions the same thing is here
http://www.bbc.co.uk/southampton/music/aqualung_rev.shtml
The official biography just says "Awarded a scholarship at 16 to study composition in Winchester", can anybody find any more information? Twistme 13:11, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
Genre
[edit]I'll accept alternative, indie or piano rock but pop does definitely not suit Aqualung. Feel free to dispute but unless you can give a valid argument please do not add pop to the genre. GBobly 14:17, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
Merger proposal
[edit]- The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
- The result of this discussion was to Merge. The majority of editors favor merging, and the one argument against relies on the assumption that the musician's output will dramatically increase at some point. In the unlikely event Aqualung does suddenly start putting out a half dozen new albums every year, we can easily return the discographic content to Aqualung discography then. (Incidentally, Alan1 should have closed this discussion as "Merge" back in October 2011, per WP:Merging.) NukeofEarl (talk) 18:08, 8 October 2014 (UTC)
I propose that Aqualung discography be merged into Aqualung (musician). I think that the content in the Aqualung discography article can easily be explained in the context of Aqualung (musician), and the Aqualung discography article is of a reasonable size in which the merging of Aqualung (musician) will not cause any problems as far as article size or undue weight is concerned.Alanl (talk) 04:19, 6 September 2011 (UTC)
- I second your proposal in merging the articles. Since the discography of the artist isn't huge, it can be easily merged.

- I feel, particularly with the passage of time and more releases, merging both articles is NOT a good idea. We would simply end up with one unwieldy piece if it went ahead. I accept the original proposal is now 18 months old, but time does go on and things do change.
