I am submitting the following event as notable for inclusion on this page... Overland Park Jewish Community Center shooting

I think it meets the criteria (though I don't see any explicitly listed). It is a unique event, not that it was a shooting, but in the motivation, on American soil. And it carries global significance. --Reverend Loki (talk) 22:15, 12 August 2015 (UTC)

Guru Gobind Singh.

OK … 

I can’t help but notice that Guru Gobind Singh is credited with creating the Khalsa: the Sikh community, in other words.

Something confirmed in the entry on the Guru.

However, the entry on the Khalsa say this happen on the 30th March of the relevant year.

Which is the correct date? Is it possible someone could clear this up?

Mark Speight

Re: Mark Speight under the death section; for one the body was only found on this date, he has been missing for 6 days - he didn't necessarily die on the day he was found. Anyone winning a wrestling championship is not notable. It wouldn't matter if he was a three legged Samoan hermaphrodite. No events in wrestling are notable (except possibly an indoor attendance record). It is entertainment and it is scripted. Events

Hi i just noticed that you undid an edit of mine on the page April 13. It was an event in 2003 when 21 students were killed in a bus accident and it's well known to be the biggest car accident that has ever happened in Greece. Thank youSergiogr (talk) 15:17, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

The event that I removed here was removed for two reasons. First it is not a globally notable event. While the deaths of 21 students are tragic, it does not have global significance. The entry did not mention anything about being the biggest car accident in the history of Greece - and even if it had, I do not believe it would be globally significant. Second, the event was not supported in any of the linked articles. Entries must be verifiable and this is done by linking to existing articles that support the event. Hi. This is kind of a death, but Bob Curry, NBC News correspondent Ann Curry's dad, died April 13, 2008. He doesn't have a wikipedia article, but I think we should put something like this on there:
