History

I've taken a quick look around elsewhere, but I can't find a date for the founding of Apia. It was there by the 1850s, though. [1] Aridd (talk) 15:04, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Britannica says, in its article on Samoa: "By the 1850s a foreign settlement had sprung up around Apia Harbour." Aridd (talk) 19:05, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
