Short story mention?

Despite the difference in spelling, I believe that this was the setting of the short story "Dinner in Audoghast" by Bruce Sterling (mentioned, e.g., in two collections in the Bruce Sterling bibliography article). Would that be reasonable to mention in the article, or are "in pop culture" references undesirable these days? --Steuard (talk) 22:02, 24 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
