Duplication

[edit]

This page was copied from Hewitt Associates and now there are two pages with almost the same content. One of them should be removed, with a link to the other. vampeare (talk) 20:47, 14 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. Since the company is now called as Aon Hewitt, Hewitt Associates should be redirected to Aon Hewitt. Nishant Jain (talk) 19:54, 23 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed and done, 24 October 2012. The Hewitt Associates page should now be removed.˜˜˜˜ — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nhy67ygv (talkcontribs) 04:04, 25 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Alight Solutions

[edit]

Alight Solutions is now a separate company and should have its own separate page. Beth Kahlich (talk) 22:04, 8 January 2019 (CST)

Hello Beth Kahlich. The article said that Alight was a separate company from Aon Hewitt. But wasn't the outsourcing department a part of Hewitt Associates before the Aon merger? ("By 1997 more than 100 large companies outsourced their benefit programs to Hewitt, covering about nine million worldwide employees." "As of early 2010, Hewitt had approximately 2,600 clients, making it the world's largest provider of multi-service HR business process outsourcing, and it claimed to be the only firm fully integrated HR outsourcing and HR consulting." Both sentences from this article.) Wasn't it part of Aon Hewitt from the merger until it was sold to Blackstone? If the answer to both those questions is yes, and I believe it is, this article should mention that the majority of people who worked at Aon Hewitt a few years ago now work in their same jobs at Alight. Can you convince me otherwise? Thank you. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 04:30, 9 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi User:Malik Shabazz. Thank you so much for calling out my very poor use of the interface. Yes it should remain as you are correct. The challenge is that there is no separate Wikipedia page for the new, separate company called Alight Solutions. As of now the term "Alight Solutions" redirects to this page. No problem. I wasn't aware that Alight Solutions redirects here. I think that's a mistake, and I'm going to ask that it be changed. Thank you. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 03:39, 10 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merge with Hewitt Associates

[edit]

The content of the two articles is virtually the same, except that Aon Hewitt includes events since the merger with Aon. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 03:50, 10 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
