X Light Flotilla battalion (RSI)
[edit]I'm sure they had a role but it's crazy to put them in the OOB at the same level as Army Group C! The Italian source quoted implies they came under 715th Division's command but they would certainly have been taking orders from them or the German Corps HQ. - Sorry for late reply. The Xa Mas Decima Flotilla (independent unit from the Germans) in Anzio as a whole was under the command of Junio Valerio Borghese. However The Barbarigo Battalion was under the command of the German 715th Division. So I splitted both units into two. Regards Jheeeeeeteegh (talk) 07:48, 23 March 2024 (UTC)

Potential Updates to Order of Battle
[edit]Hello,
I have noticed some differences between the units listed on this page and what is listed here in this reference from the Naval War College Review https://digital-commons.usnwc.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1353&context=nwc-review. I am wondering if we can update the units listed and the associated illustration of those units.
Thank you! Albinouty (talk) 22:44, 23 December 2023 (UTC)
Autonomous Paratroopers Battalion "Nembo"
[edit]The Autonomous Paratroopers Battalion "Nembo" was formed in Spoleto in January 1944 with paratrooper trainees. None of whom had served with the Nembo or Folgore division. The XII Paratroopers Battalion of the 184th Infantry Regiment "Nembo" and the III Paratroopers Battalion of the 185th Infantry Regiment "Nembo", as well as the XX Paratroopers Battalion, were used to form in October 1943 the unrelated Paratrooper Grouping "Nembo", which was attached to the German 2. Fallschirmjäger Division. The Paratrooper Grouping "Nembo" was never at Anzio, and in April 1944 it was used to form the Paratroopers Regiment "Folgore", which was attached to the 1. Fallschirmjäger Corps. In short: the Autonomous Paratroopers Battalion "Nembo" does have nothing to do with the 184th Infantry Division "Nembo". The lineage is different. noclador (talk) 09:30, 7 November 2024 (UTC)
- My apologies for the misunderstanding. The unit was just named Nembo but the unit didn't came from the Nembo Division Jheeeeeeteegh (talk) 13:47, 7 November 2024 (UTC)
