The cousin rumour

[edit]

@Geniac and Ohnoitsjamie: since you have re-instated the cousin claim, I realize it is backed by a RS, but it is a rumour that has stuck. This article from yesterday has the cousin Reba saying how Wikipedia got it wrong, and here is a narration by the cousin her uploaded 3 days back on how a reporter started the cousin rumour. Understood, thanks! OhNoitsJamie Talk 18:09, 3 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I don't consider 123telugu to be a reliable source, but thanks for the explanation. Geniac (talk) 20:01, 3 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Birthplace

[edit]

That she was born in Chicago was added by an anonymous IP a few years back without any source and is now backed up in the article with sources that are most likely circular.

While I have been able to find somewhat reliable sources that confirm she was raised in Dallas (e.g. [1], [2]); none exist for her connection with Chicago. I will be removing this unless someone can come up with RS which confirm this here. Gotitbro (talk) 21:19, 19 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The best I have been able to find is this where she says: "Not only did I grow up in the US, but I was born there as well."
Source: TOI
I will be updating the article accordingly and removing Chicago, along with tagging other unsourced stuff. Gotitbro (talk) 08:36, 20 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
