What should be given as the official/preferred German title of his book. [1] states that the official title is "Versuch einer Geschichte von Krain und der übrigen südlichen Slaven Oesterreichs", which is the title of the first volume. As evident at [2], the title of the second volume is "Versuch einer Geschichte von Krain und den übrigen Ländern der südlichen Slaven Oesterreichs" and this is also the subtitle of the Slovene translation of the work, published in 1981.(COBISS12908033; full view) --Eleassarmy talk11:26, 28 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
