Content evaluation

[edit]

It looks like information for your species was a bit difficult to find! I tried searching as well and did struggle a bit. I've listed some sources in the sources selection before that might be helpful. It might help to talk a bit more about the morphology of anopodium in general, I see that you have already listed some information that is species-specific. Were you able to find any information on why it is restricted to rabbit or hare dung? Is it the specific microbiota found in the gut? You might be able to find some info in print sources or other species that are also rabbit or hare specific!

Tone and balance evaluation

[edit]

You did a good job keeping your work neutral and unbiased.

Sources and references evaluation

[edit]

It is a bit difficult to find sources but it looks like there are 3 that you used but only one is listed! It might be a good idea to go fix those citations! I was able to find two more sources that might be helpful listed below:

Richardson MJ. New and interesting records of coprophilous fungi. Botanical Journal of Scotland. 1998; 50: 161-175 This one talks more about its morphology and similarity to A. ephile.

Kruys A. Huhndord SM. Miller AN. Coprophilous contributions to the phylogeny of Lasiosphaeriaceae and allied taxa within Sordariales (Ascomycota, Fungi). Fungal Diversity. 2013 This one is more updated and also includes photos of your species.

It might be beneficial to find some print resources at Gerstein. I was struggling with online resources with mine as well but was able to find some information under an older species name in the library.

Overall evaluation

[edit]

Overall, I learned a lot reading this and I think that once it is put into full sentences it will make a good article. You did an excellent job explaining your sections especially with the limited information that is available!
