Ritual circumcision is doing damage to the body f. e. reducing the sexual potentials - and so it is always against the well-being of a girl or a boy. Anne Lindboe is wrong in not declaring that any circumcision (on girls or boys) should be illegal, and now just organizing the right date of juvenile male circumcision. Lindboe: "Circumcision without a medical indication on a person unable to provide informed consent conflicts with basic principles of medical ethics." Dear Mrs Lindboe, as the ombudsman for children (and child according to the UN-Convention for the Rights of the Child is any human being below the age of eighteen years) you should state: "Circumcision without a medical indication conflicts with basic principles of medical ethics." Children's Ombudsman

Lindboe considers the age of thirteen years for any boy being the adequate age of consent to get his genitals lifelong altered, as several sources quote her: "non-medical circumcision of pre-teen boys should be outlawed" (see: JTA, November 2013). 79.251.67.185 (talk) 17:32, 11 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
