Name

[edit]

Although ACM passed fifty as "Annie" she was active for another three decades and prominent for much of that time. She is "Anne" in secondary literature including all six titles of our source titles that name her. She is primarily "Moore, Anne Carroll" in the Library of Congress and WorldCat (footer authorities). So I believe the article name should be Anne with Annie a redirect.

I made her Anne Carroll in {{Persondata}} and in the "listas" parameter above, for alphabetization. I overlooked {{DEFAULTSORT}}.

P.S. Annie Egerton Moore was five years older. It appears that her first book was published in 1919 at age 53 when ACM was 48.[1] Others were published in the 1920s-30s at least.

Children's Book Week

[edit]

Someone needs to re-verify or clarify the date for the founding of Children's Book Week.

All my research states "1919" as the founding year, not 1918.

Or is it possible that it was indeed found in 1918 but the first one was actually held in 1919?

Either away, the brief section needs re-verifying or clarifying and a minor re-write. 2600:8800:785:1300:C23F:D5FF:FEC4:D51D (talk) 22:12, 28 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
