Nationality

[edit]

Catalan is not a nationality. She is Spanish. Newrednight (talk) 11:45, 14 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You seem to be confusing citizenship and nationality. Catalan is a nationality, so I see no reason to edit the original phrasing. Llangardaix (talk) 15:40, 16 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not confusing anything, as in the legal sense, nationality and citizenship in Spain are the same concept. You seem to be confusing the terminology used in the 1978 Spanish Constitution and the current Catalan Statute, which use nationality as a mere cultural concept, same as a region. Therefore, when introducing the information regarding this politician, she is to be referred to as a Spanish person. Stop vandalizing articles. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Newrednight (talkcontribs) 12:07, 21 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
