Requested move
[edit]Anilao, Mabini, Batangas → Anilao – The popular Philippine dive resort village is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for the term Anilao. 1 No need for a dab page as the Philippine municipality is linked here. RioHondo (talk) 13:18, 23 October 2014 (UTC)

Anilao → Anilao, Iloilo – While it is uncontroversially accepted that WP:MOSPHIL states uniquely-named municipalities (Philippine towns) and towns that are considered primary topics (like Mariveles and Minglanilla) are deserving of plain <cityname> only convention, this is probably not the case for Anilao, Iloilo. A simple Google search reveals all top 10 search results (excluding the result for enwiki) are about the much more famous resort barangay of Anilao, Mabini, Batangas.
It is debatable on which of the two deserves the primacy status (the town that is one division higher than barangays in the Philippine administrative division hierarchy, or the barangay that is the subordinate of a town but is more famous as a major tourist destination for many tourists and the number one thing that comes into the mind of Filipinos when they hear the word "Anilao"). However, as a potential compromise "Anilao" shall become the disambiguation page and both Anilao, Iloilo and Anilao, Mabini, Batangas be listed on the disambiguation page. Note that the Mabini barangay had article before, until it was deleted to pave the way for move of Anilao, Iloilo into this title.
A search on both Google and Google Maps yields three other barangays with the same name (Anilao of Malolos, Anilao of Lipa, Batangas, and Anilao of Pavia, Iloilo) which can be simply listed on the future disambiguation page even if they have no articles. - Support. While I doubt the need to include redlinks on the DAB, it seems to me that wp:TWODABS applies here. Andrewa (talk) 20:12, 12 September 2021 (UTC)
