[edit]The subject of the image is now referenced on the image file. It is important to be careful in distinguishing, as Huntington is, sometimes anyway, between the argument that describing the early phase of Buddhist art as "the aniconic period" or similar phrases is incorrect, and arguing that there were no aniconic images. Possible typo
