How is she notable?

[edit]

I've stopped going through the article, removing promotional material, because I don't see any sources demonstrating she's notable. AfD? --Ronz (talk) 21:07, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There are some hits on google news: [1] and google books [2]. I think if someone wanted to work a bit, they could make a decent stub article. Active Banana ( bananaphone 21:11, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
She has recipes published in a variety of venues, but can anyone find articles with substantial coverage on her? Looks like she's very good a promoting herself as an accessible "expert" on raw food and nutrition for the media. A stub would be fine while editors sift through everything written on her to find something that doesn't look like it's just a slightly-modified press release. --Ronz (talk) 21:23, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, looking again at the hits theres not much actual content there. I think this would count as N:AUTH - a professional review of a food book [3] and this of her computer writing [4]. Maybe stub it down to there and rebuild with sources? Active Banana ( bananaphone 21:49, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Article cleanup necessary

[edit]

It doesn't read like a normal encyclopedic entry. The first part actually reads like the CIA factbook, it's just missing her driver's license and platelet count. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.126.206.55 (talk) 22:51, 13 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This piece reads like something hot off the desk of a PR flack.

I mean, please... "this show was attended by a global audience via the internet, and has changed our marketing landscape."

It's "changed our marketing landscape"?

Somehow, that just does not strike me as appropriate tone for an encyclopedia.

Gag me with an (organic!) spoon.

Yeah, I saw that today, and removed the statement. PKT(alk) 17:46, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
