Sources are not optional

[edit]

@Jauerback: Regarding your edit summary here, that's not how it works. Verifiability is one of our core policies. Specifically, the burden is on the uploader to provide a source. While the location of the airport and other details may seem obvious to you or the locals, they are not obvious to the rest of us, and certainly don't negate the need for references. Maintenance tags like {{Citation needed}} are not substitutes for supplying references; rather they are to encourage cleanup of existing material. Besides, this article had existing {{More citations needed}} tags.

Thanks for finding a reference. — voidxor 22:57, 16 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Mayoral history should show dates in office, not dates of birth/death

[edit]

@Hkeely: Thank you for contributing the list of mayors. I have one request, though, based on the common way people in political offices are listed on Wikipedia. Would you be able to change the dates in the parenthesis from the years of birth and death to the years that they were in office? I think that would be much more meaningful and easy to sort. Thanks again! — voidxor 00:11, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Voidxor, thanks for noticing it! The parentheses actually do list years in office and not lifespans. The list is just incomplete, so I need to work on finding the missing mayors and term spans :-) Thank you! Hkeely (talk) 03:59, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
