Not sure why this should be deleted. McDonald is a candidate for the largest party and has a good chance of winning the seat. There is nothing to suggest that this is a vanity page. Pollieswantacracker 05:15, 23 January 2007‎ (UTC)

Seems to be a major party candidate, and such candidates are notable in the US and the US. No basis for prod. One good source already. Needs another source. Whether he wins or not, he gets an article. DGG 03:13, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
