Conflict of interest
[edit]It seems the majority of edits to this page have been made by single purpose accounts, one of which has just openly admitted to be editing the article on behalf of the subject, who is his supervisor. While not strictly forbidden this is generally considered a bad thing and it would probably be better to suggest edits here and let users with no direct connection to the subject evaluate them to insure the article maintains the neutral tone expected of an encyclopedia. Beeblebrox, I am a past student of Andrew A. Michta with no current or future connections to him (specifically with him as any sort of supervisor). I do not currently work for Andrew Michta, nor is he my teacher, nor am I hoping for either of these situations to reoccur in the expected future. With that, I have searched the internet and found all sites relevant to him and his work. Using this sources I have edited his page and referenced multiple websites for you to check the article's validity. My reasoning for editing this page was admiration of a past professor, mentor and director, with hopes that others could follow his works/biography and get in touch with him or follow a similar path. After much work has gone into making this biography informational and unbiased, please remove the "warning boxes" at the top of the Andrew A. Michta page. Thank you!!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.50.95.2 (talk) 13:55, 25 September 2012 (UTC)
- Interesting that you assumed I was talking to you since you didn't edit the article until after I posted the initial remark. Also interesting that you claim to be a different person than the one who openly admitted to working for the subject and yet you added the photo that they uploaded at Commons after failing to convince WP admins to grant the confirmed permission. In any event I have now nominated this article for deletion as it seems more like a public relations ploy than a legitimate, neutral biography. Beeblebrox (talk) 18:53, 27 October 2012 (UTC)
