Mysterio
[edit]I must nail this down, but in an article for an Overstreet magazine, Mysterio was cited as an inspiraiton.

Spoilers
[edit]That's a huge spoiler given away in the first line of this article. I don't think that's really fair for people that haven't seen Mask of the Phantasm. -- Supermorff 09:58, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is meant to inform. It's an encylopedia. Spoilers are a peripheral concern. Mentioning her secret identity in the intro is necessary because it is a widely used name for the character. Also, the film was released over a decade ago; spoilers for this information are already all over the place. 151.201.34.6
I agree with Supermorff. Perhaps a seperate article could be created for the Phantasm so readers at least have the option of not having the movie spoiled for them?
But what's the point in doing that? This isn't a site for synopsis'. I avoid reading up on movies I haven't seen so I won't be spoiled. Take note that spoilers are commonly seen in the Plot section so avoid it.CN Guy (talk) 23:06, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
Plus, Mask of the Phantasm was made in 1993, that was 15 years ago. I think it is pretty safe to put up spoilers on something like that. If this film was coming out early next year and the idenitiy had been leaked, then it would be a spoiler that needs to be removed. But for something this old, its ok to have it up.194.81.189.20 (talk) 13:00, 12 December 2008 (UTC)

Batman: Year Two connection
[edit]Is there a reason to omit the connection between the Phantasm and the Reaper from Batman: Year Two? Shouldn't this be included under the "character design" heading? Brant Jones (talk) 05:18, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
