History
[edit]I researched the club's history about 25 years ago and I discovered that it was started by the vicar of St Mary's (Rev E R Braithwaite) for the young men living in New Street. The football club was named New Street FC as a player had to live in New Street to be eligible. Nowhere did I find that it was called St Mary's Youth so I am interested to know why you claim it was. 216.128.5.199 (talk) 17:04, 9 November 2024 (UTC)
- The club itself claims this in the history section of their website (this is the reference used in the history section to back up this statement). Number 57 17:52, 9 November 2024 (UTC)
