This arctice was deleted in Norwegian on 30. aug. 2014, see w:no:Wikipedia:Sletting/Anders Cameroon Østensvig Dale. This article in English contains trivia about a living person or rather a person who is probably alive. Dale was reported missing by his Norwegian family in 2011. He has been heard from once since, in 2015 when his mother died and he made a phone call to Norway. Other than that he was issued a passport in 2007 valid for 10 years, but the passport is probably registered as wanted with Interpol and consequently useless for traveling. We know that Dale is radicalized and that he is wanted by both Norwegian police and US police because he is considered a terrorist. Other than that we do not know what he has done since 2011, apart from the telephone call to Norway in 2015. As of now the Norwegian PST assumes he is still alive. And I emphasize that it is an assumption although probably true. Being wanted by the police and having disappeared really should not be sufficient to warrant an article in Wikipedia.
-- I have checked Norwegian newspapers w:no:Retriever Norge since I have access behind their pay wall and the newspapers have done their very best to find out anything about him, but the news interest died some years ago. It reappeared in this news item of April 14th 2017 and it is quite representative. The newspaper is chewing cud on old facts and calling them news. The only news in the article is his phone call to his mother in 2015.
-- What we know is that he has been radicalized, have gone missing, is wanted and is presumed living. He has joined a terrorist group, but what terrorism he might have done we do not know at all. The charges are preliminary and not public. He might be charged with joining a terrorist group, but maybe no terrorism, we just do not know till the charges are public. For the charges to be public he must be served a summons with the charges and he is missing. If Dale is found and presented to a police force cooperating with Interpol someone will produce proper charges that he will be served and the charges will be public. If he is found and apprehended I suspect we will have a new discussion on Norwegian WP. Till then he should not have a biography. Right now we just do not have information that warrants a biography on WP. --ツツDyveldi☯ prat✉ post20:51, 17 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
