Entries for disambiguation pages

[edit]

Disambiguation pages are meant to help readers find a specific existing article quickly and easily. For that reason, every entry should have a link to one article - that article should either be about the entry specifically (like Andem, Gabon) or be included/mentioned in the article (like Andemtenga Department). For Andem, there are undoubtedly many things and people whose names include 'Andem' but if they are not discussed in a Wikipedia article, then they don't belong on the disambiguation page, even if there are external references that prove their existence.

  • I found a reference for 'Andem' in Bene Ephraim, so I have added that.
  • I could find no mention of a biblical reference made by Jacob of Serugh or a ship called Andem, so I have deleted those entries
  • Wikipedia is not an urban dictionary, so I have deleted that entry as well.

If these are notable topics, they could perhaps be added to existing articles. Leschnei (talk) 21:32, 17 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
