Article Evaluation - Suggested edits
[edit]Hello Fellow Wikipedians, For the article Ancient Agora of Athens, I have the following suggestions. The lead section should be expanded to include a brief overview of the key points of the article and some background on the Ancient Agora of Athens. As it stands, it just says where the Ancient Agora of Athens is located. Additionally, explain briefly what the Ancient Agora of Athens is, as well as have the link to the page for an Agora. It isn’t really understood what an Agora is from the first sentence. The article goes over what is happening with it right now, how and where it is being excavated. It also goes into the museum of the Ancient Agora, but it doesn’t have anything explaining what the Ancient Agora of Athens was, or how it came to be. Additionally, it just states what structures were included in the Ancient Agora, but doesn’t go into what each structure was. Also, footnotes should be added to the building structures 1-20 to make it clear what source(s) they came from. Something that was distracting was the red links in the excavation portion of the article, that when clicked on, lead to nowhere. Kittie217 (talk) 02:40, 25 September 2017 (UTC)
