Concert Hall

[edit]

I'm not sure if concert hall is the correct term. I created the stub on this article, and couldn't think if a better fitting word. Most music at the AB is rock or alternative, ranging from the Foo Fighters to Anthony and the Johnsons. Wouter Lievens 13:23, 7 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Notable concerts

[edit]

What constitutes a notable concert? The ones currently mentioned in the first paragraph in the section are probably OK, but some of the ones listed afterwards (eg. the recently added Katy Perry) seem questionable. --David Edgar (talk) 16:02, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It seems to me that the rationale behind the list is to include bands that one would expect to see in much larger venues, but played in the AB because eg. they were at the beginning of their career at the time. Including concerts that have been recorded or broadcast also makes sense. The acts I'd personally remove from the list are: Def Leppard, Steve Vai, UB40, Metal Female Voices Fest, Josh Ritter, Counting Crows, Katy Perry; their playing at the AB doesn't seem exceptional in itself; there may be reasons why these concerts were notable, but then those reasons should be mentioned. 84.198.246.199 (talk) 01:43, 30 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
