Sundance Film Festival Quote
[edit]The quote in question is: "Following a screening at the Sundance Film Festival, co-director, Henriette Mantel, remarked that an audience member said, “Please tell Ralph I'm sorry I've been mad at him since 2000. Now I remember what kind of an American he is. Thanks for making this movie.
The link doesn't work. Moreover, the words of one person -- what would be called "hearsay" in a court of law -- don't constitute a "response." The words are the opinion of one person delivered secondhand. When was the quote uttered? I don't think the quote belongs. Chisme (talk) 21:37, 31 October 2021 (UTC)
- I’ve updated the article link to web archive.
- I did an undo of your revert because I think it’s appropriate to include a direct quote from a filmmakers’ Q&A, relating to in-person audience reaction at a major film festival.
- I’d like to contribute further to this documentary entry upon reading further articles that reacted to the release of this film, in further detail; while I actually remember see this in the theater, as well.
- Your thoughts…? Kamalesh9 (talk) 21:55, 31 October 2021 (UTC)
