Contesting speedy deletion
[edit]Amzi Barber is "the man who founded the asphalt industry in this country" according to 1909 article here (PDF) (and here's the headline). He is described on page 232 of this book. According to this website, "It was under Barber's direction that the Locomobile name became a brand."
I think this warrants an encyclopedic article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by J. Finkelstein (talk • contribs) 20:46, 16 May 2009
- So why not include that in the article? I agree this all sounds compelling, but nobody is going to see it in talk. Erechtheus (talk) 20:51, 16 May 2009 (UTC)
- I just wanted to briefly create a one-sentence article, because red links on some other pages were bothering me. I was going to return and add more information later :) J. Finkelstein (talk) 21:11, 16 May 2009 (UTC)
