Merger Proposal
[edit]I propose that Amy Swensen be merged into this article, Amy Tran, as Amy Tran Swensen, as they are the same person. Red Fiona (talk) 23:43, 6 October 2015 (UTC)
- Support but not sure under which surname the merged article should be. Richard3120 (talk) 03:29, 16 October 2015 (UTC)
- Her US hockey page (http://www.teamusa.org/Athletes/SW/Amy-Swensen.aspx) is under Amy Swensen, but another article on the same page has her being Amy Tran-Swensen (http://www.teamusa.org/News/2012/August/15/Londons-Hometown-Heroes-Jamie-Gray-August-15-2012), so I'm not sure either. Consensus has been reached that Amy Tran and Amy Swensen should be merged. The problem is that it's not clear whether to merge into Amy Tran, her maiden name, Amy Swensen, her married name, or Amy Tran Swensen, which is also used in a lot of articles. She's been named as Amy Swensen and Amy Tran Swensen in articles so it's not clear what the best option is. Red Fiona (talk) 16:05, 25 October 2015 (UTC)
- Amy Swenson - Use her current name and have Amy Tran redirect to Amy Swenson. Meatsgains (talk) 21:53, 25 October 2015 (UTC)
