[edit]It's mentioned that it "contains alkaline" which seems to be grammatically awkward (alkaline is an adjective, unless you're talking about batteries), but reading the reference citation, it doesn't seem to highlight this fact. Rather, this seems to be a wild interpretation. It seems the source citation indicates the pH of the berry increases as it ripens, from acidic to basic, which causes its color to change -- which doesn't seem to have the same meaning. 2602:46:3913:B400:87CE:CEE7:F514:31E3 (talk) 23:55, 25 August 2024 (UTC)
