Origin of the name

[edit]

Hey, the article says that the name comes from a 12 year old girl called Amparo Roca. This story isn't backed by any serious source. I've just read an alternative version here: http://literaturavillalba.blogspot.fr/2011/08/el-misterio-amparito-roca-quien-fue.html. I've edited the Spanish article, but maybe one should modify the Catalan and English speaking articles too, but neither is my source very solid, I don't want to take the responsability of introducing something wrong in all Wikipedias, so I let someone else read my source and consider if he should change the article, take care :-)
Furthermore: the article says that the dates of birth and death of Amparo Roca are 1905–1977. But it also says that Amparo was 12-y-o in 1925. So it doesn't cope... The article actually mixes up the story of Amparito Roca Ibáñez (1912-1993, if I believe this blog: http://literaturavillalba.blogspot.fr/2011/08/el-misterio-amparito-roca-quien-fue.html) and the one of Amparito Roca Rebullida (1904-1977)...
In the article it is also written that the pasodoble was written in 1925, like here: http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amparito_Roca, but there: http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jaime_Texidor, they say it was in 1919!!!
Something is rotten in the state of Denmark!... ;-) 85.170.120.230 (talk) 12:16, 2 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
