If you search North American Union in Google, one of the first results is:

North American Union - Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaNorth American Union. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Jump to: navigation, search. This page has been deleted, and protected to prevent re-creation. ...

So people searching for information on this important topic will see that Wikipedia not only deleted and locked the article on the subject, but also deleted and locked the discussion page.

What could be more indicative of a policy of censorship at Wikipedia on this subject?

Placing the term in quotes to search the exact phrase at Google yields 181,000 results. Obviously, there is a lot of information out there on the topic, and it deserves an entry at Wikipedia.

I am not an expert on the subject, but I hoped that by creating the entry "American Union" there would be a place for those who are experts to add info, which is what I understand is the purpose of Wikipedia.

Deleting and locking the subject is not increasing world knowledge but censoring world knowledge. Thorson 13:59, 27 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
