Toilet

[edit]

Are we really not going to use the word "toilet" once in this article? This is American Standard, folks. Let's not beat around the bush.

47.187.124.69 (talk) 17:17, 28 January 2021 (UTC) I have bought several American Standard toilets in 2020 and they have been made in Mexico. Does American Standard manufacture anything in the USA in toilets or bathroom fixtures? American Standard website is almost impossible to find out where the product is made; the only way I have seen data is when a customer rates the product they bought or in the store on the box or product. I would pay more for USA made product if I had a choice as long as it was equal or better quality. There have been many times I chose not to buy because I could not find a product made in the USA. History has not been kind to countries that stops making their own products and goods and become dependent on others to supply products. Just think of recent times with medicines and face masks and other safety equipment, or of the future when jobs get outsourced - who does that benefit; not the working class.[reply]
