season 2 distinction
[edit]The History section appears to contradict itself; either College Madness was indeed part of season 2, or season 2 started after College Madness. I can say anecdotally that Verizon FiOS's channel guide considered College Madness to be part of season 2— the first episode of College Madness was "S2:E1" and the first episode of the upsized "pro" competition was "S2:E6" despite the substantial time gap between what appeared to be separate seasons. Perhaps someone should find a reliable source that clarifies this. -- NewkirkPlaza (talk) 04:09, 16 July 2017 (UTC)
- I agree. Looking at the episode listing for purchase on Google Play I see the same thing here. - GalatzTalk 13:27, 17 July 2017 (UTC)
- On The Futon Critic listings page for the show, College Madness is listed separate from season 2. Heartfox (talk) 19:17, 30 July 2018 (UTC)
spin-offs or not spin-offs?
[edit]There's nothing in the "RTL plant 'Team Ninja Warrior Germany' für 2018" link that even implies that the German edition is a spin-off of the American edition. This (and presumable the other one too) should be in a See Also section, as (in my anecdotal understanding) the various Ninja-Warrior-branded shows around the world (including the main American show) are all spun off from Sasuke (the original Japanese show) and licensed by Tokyo Broadcasting Company. NewkirkPlaza (talk) 05:04, 6 March 2018 (UTC)
- They are called "Team Ninja Warrior", so it is perfectly acceptable to place a section here, since they are "Team Ninja Warrior", and SASUKE isn't a team competition, so they are not directly spun-off of the Japanese show. The Danish and German shows have the same format as the American one (TNW), and not the same as NWUK, ANW or SASUKE. Further, we are missing a franchise article, so you should probably write one of those. Ninja Warrior (franchise) is missing and needs creation. -- 65.94.42.219 (talk) 07:18, 25 May 2018 (UTC)
Split off SEASONS section into separate LIST article

It has been suggested that this section be split out into another page titled American Ninja Warrior: Ninja vs. Ninja. (Discuss) |
I suggest that the "American Ninja Warrior: Ninja vs. Ninja#Seasons" section be split into its own separate article at List of American Ninja Warrior: Ninja vs. Ninja seasons -- 65.94.42.168 (talk) 07:26, 6 July 2018 (UTC)
