Board members
[edit]I have removed the list of board members because I did not feel it was appropriate to have them here. If you want to develop the article, can we have some history of the journal and background on its founding. More detail about what's in the journal ... things like this. Not a long list of names of people without their own articles. Just my opinion. MSGJ (talk) 12:48, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
- I agree. the board members are not notable. lots of people sit on advisory boards, not worth mentioning each time in WP. i trimmed the sample article info down, and will search on the individual author names for notability. i didnt recognize any names myself, but im not really an expert. i do know the IASS, though. the previous version of this article had a promotional slant to it. id welcome others adding notable authors, articles, reviews. i couldnt find any mention outside academic websites of individual issues/articles. - To whoever added the editorial board back in: can you please give a reason why this list is notable? and a reference to where we can find this list of names? even if its only in the journals title pages? and if there are any names which are notable in WP already? if so, please link them. if there are some who SHOULD be in WP, can you redlink them? is this a permanent list, or does it change over time? will you be editing the list when it changes? i removed the editorial board because it didnt seem like an important encyclopedic set of facts. i will not revert it again, but i did try to establish notability already for the entire list, and all i got was what i left there. i included one author from a sample issue, and would love to see authors that have been published in the journal: hell, 20 or 30, if a few are blue linked, and a few red linked, would be fine. but no journal article names, unless they themselves are notable. and, if you can establish notability, can you reformat the names to not be upper case? - I have removed the editorial board again. I'm not sure the list of authors should be maintained either. --Crusio (talk) 09:15, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
- I agree. i would prefer only notable authors, but i cant figure out how to find any. if the list is deleted i wont revert. Mercurywoodrose (talk) 04:41, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

Hello, I am the journal editor. I made a minor change to reflect current editorship. I don't know how to upload a picture, but the current image of the journal is from 15 years ago. The current image of the journal cover can be found on the journal landing page, which is https://www.tandfonline.com/toc/wajs20/current. Thanks to anyone who is more familiar with Wikipedia than me to upload it correctly. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Billtaverner (talk • contribs) 13:50, 20 November 2020 (UTC)
